• Although this track contains a lot of sounds from ”Last Laugh”, this is actually the original. ”Last Laugh” was basically an offspring from the ”Last Report”-sessions.
• The voice sample in the first part is from the movie ”Close Encounters of the Third Kind”.
• The initial idea was to create something similar to the album Low by David Bowie.
• I had such a hard time mixing the track I eventually left it to Ola Strandh (my mastering guy). I was giving him such a hard time, I doubt he will ever mix another track for me.
• The melodic part in the second half (that kicks in at 04:41) took some time to get right (the pitch bend was difficult to get right). I accidentally deleted the audio file, which made me nearly abandon the whole track. Eventually I managed to re-create the part.
• The voice sample in the outro (at 07:22) is from ”Rebel Without a Cause”and is one of my favourite voice samples.
