• The piano theme is nicked from the film ”Angel Heart”. I loved this film as a kid and the melody has always haunted me. It’s the scene where Mickey Rourke is waiting in the bar while playing with his keys.

• I could not use the actual sample from the film because the quality was too low and the tempo was off, so I re-recorded the piano part. I spent forever getting the right feel and I still think that some notes sound either rushed or too slow.

• The weird static that opens the track was nicked from Sigur Rós’ website. I hope no one sues me.

• This track was featured in the film ”Last Day”, which I wrote the music for. I had to come up with another piano part for the film, though.
